In 2019, the Research Institute on Catalysis and Environment of Lyon (IRCELYON UMR 5256 - previously IRC) is celebrating 60 years of research in catalysis by organizing a scientific day on July 4, 2019 in Lyon.

IRCELYON 2019 - Past, Present and Future, Innovative Catalysis for Environment and Sustainable Development program includes plenary lectures by international researchers, a keynote lecture on the 60 years of research in catalysis and two round tables on IRCELYON's main themes: "energy & environment" and "chemistry & sustainable development". The round tables, chaired by Sylvie LATIEULE from the InfoChimie journal, bring together industrial and academic researchers. They will discuss together and with the audience about the advances and the future challenges related to these themes.

This scientific day  is an opportunity to gather togheter the academic and industrial researchers on catalysis. It's also one of the contributions of IRCELYON to the events organized for celebrating the International Year of Chemistry and the 80th anniversary of the CNRS.
