The Universty of Lyon is easily accessible by public transportation system:

• station "Quai Claude Bernard " - Tramway line T1 (a 2-minutes walk) Related to renovaton work, trafic is stopped between charpenne station and Liberté station
  
• station "Centre Berthelot" - Tramway line T2 (a 2-minutes walk)
• station "Jean Macé" - Tube line B (a 8-minutes walk)
